LAYING THE FOUNDATIONS Our first foundations were laid in 1991 when the two founders, acquired two sites. Emerging from a previous recession, having been laid off themselves, the new entrepreneurs were determined for success.

OUR FIRST OFFICE 97 Lansdown Road was the location of our first Cheltenham office, followed by a move to larger premises at Lansdown Place just 18 months later.

COLLECTING AWARDS Trowbridge Town Enhancement Awards won for Usher Brewery redevelopment. In fact, we’ve won this award three times for our works here, in 2005, 2011 and 2014.

'CONSIDERATE, CONSCIENTIOUS, CRAFTED' STRAPLINE IS LAUNCHED

Our collectively considered strapline was launched, encompassing commonly held team values as a fundamental benchmark to compare our actions to.

OFFICE MOVE TO BARNWOOD In Spring 2015 our team of 60 across nine departments outgrew our Grade II Listed Cheltenham HQ and moved to open plan offices on the outskirts of Gloucester.

Groundbreaking image for first zero carbon homes by Newland Homes

OUR FIRST ZERO CARBON HOMES ARE BROUGHT TO MARKET

Ryves Vale, Tickenham became the first development of zero carbon homes at scale, launching to a rapturous response in March 2022. The homes include a raft of additional sustainable measures making them ‘climate considerate’.
