Sustainability
Homes will be constructed to the very latest construction techniques and utilise renewable energy technologies.
The use of solar panels combined with air source heat pumps result in our open market homes becoming zero carbon in terms of energy use, combined with alternative technologies in other homes creating low carbon homes, helping occupants shrink their carbon footprint.
Homes are orientated to maximise solar gain and will use high levels of insulation in the fabric of the building that will also help deliver significant energy savings.
Water butts positioned within private gardens will capture rainfall from roofs and enable householders to utilise this source when gardening or washing their vehicles.

Looking to a sustainable future
Looking to the future, there is a passionate commitment to creating an increasingly sustainable legacy with each and every home. There are many features throughout not only our homes, but also the wider development, to mitigate climate change. For example, where possible, investment is made into technologies over and above our planning and building regulation requirements to ensure homes can maximise the benefit of solar pv production offsetting grid electricity usage, and where appropriate we use air source heat pumps or other new technologies avoiding fossil fuel usage that can make homes net zero carbon. Even seemingly small touches such as a composter or water butt, right down to the integrated eco bins in every kitchen to help encourage recycling mean that it’s the little details that make the biggest difference to how we live. Newland Homes prides itself on not only meeting but exceeding current Building Regulations and planning requirements with the future constantly front of mind.
Great design at the heart of every home
Inside each home is an abundance of considered touches of award winning design. Kitchens are carefully thought out not only in terms of practicality, but comfort too, with the kitchen being the heart of the home. Integrated appliances form part of the standard specification, along with the amount of natural light and task lighting all considered. Principal bedrooms boast built in wardrobes and storage is always considered. Bathrooms ooze relaxation with their high quality fittings including popular ‘rain’ shower heads, whether you enjoy a long soak, or a quick splash.
